Dear Colleagues and Friends, By all accounts, this was a successful symposium. From the feedback we received, people seem to have enjoyed new ideas and the variety of points of view. We especially want to thank the Sudanese Knowledge Society (SKS) team and the many volunteers. We also want to thank the individuals and organisations who made the symposium possible with their generosity ( SKS members’ donations, Sudanese Medical Heritage Foundation , and Mega for Food Products ).
