This symposium on “ A Critique of Development (or Deconstructing Development): Sudan in the Matrix ”, held on 30-31 March 2018, is jointly conceived/coordinated by Professor Sondra Hale and Dr. Gada Kadoda , and is organized in Khartoum by the Sudanese Knowledge Society and is sponsored by the Sudanese Medical Heritage Foundation . Dear Colleagues and Friends, By all accounts, this was a successful symposium. From the feedback we received, people seem to have enjoyed new ideas and the variety of points of view. We especially want to thank the Sudanese Knowledge Society (SKS) team and the many volunteers.
